There are many typical Cultural Interests prevalent across the Pop-Punk sub genre, ranging from anti-establishment ideals and various ''pro-earth'' conservation agendas. As with the entire genre of punk, this sub genre has a broad range of ideals, and the ideals promoted by each band is unique from those expressed by others and this is reflected in the response by the audience who may share in these ideals and cultural interests as well.
Many Cultural interests are aimed at promoting peace, equality, diversity amongst genres, social class and so on, animal rights, environmental protection etc. These often involve peaceful protests to further attempt to extend their influence, but in a minority of occasions these may turn violent. Anti-establishment agendas are quite common but as with all cultural interests it might not be common to everyone, it typically consist of some wanting better rights for certain groups and a more equal society, this has birthed the stereotype that all punks hate establishment.
